I wanted to make sure that I got this posted in 2024 to cap off what has been a challenging year. We returned from Tulum<\/a>, Jay got Covid, and school started. Two tenth graders and a SENIOR! The first month went by fast. We settled into our routine, and then the next bit of drama occurred. We made it to Roan Mountain a few times, but Hurricane Helene prevented us from getting up as much as we would have liked. Luckily, our house was not impacted by the storm. Kristie fell and broke her nose requiring surgery (I’ll spare you and her the pictures).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October, Jay, Parker, and the Ponce boys met up with our friends at Appalachian Climbing School<\/a> (check out their website and you will see that Jay and James are adventure models on their site).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Thanksgiving, we drove up to Dover. We enjoyed seeing Kristie’s family. Jay had a lot of fun playing with Stella and Landon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, we have three adults in the house with Parker turning 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


We are excited for 2025 and the adventures it brings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
